hmm... i don't really like this pic... i really struggled with it and didn't get it right... it doesn't look anything like i had in my head :/ the composition makes no sense, i'm not sure about the colors and the dark is too dark...it is neither abstract nor realistic...i give up on this... but for documentation sake i'm uploading it... i enlarged the characters cause i like them ,but they are too small... XDD oh well never mind better pics will come and i will paint more landscapes from photos to get a better feel for them
Beautiful, I noticed your description... Just remember that foreground objects are darkest and slowly blend into the atmosphere as they go further back. Immediate gratification may come from just darkening the tree in the front a lot and lighten the one on the upper left. Dutch windmil paintings make good examples of this.
Ich finde das Bild großartig und so wundervoll stimmig. Die ganzen Details darin und die Stimmung, die es vermittelt erinnern mich ein bisschen an Wuppertal, wo ich einige Zeit gewohnt hatte.
But the autor always see the errors... and stuff...
